Anne Rice, Kelley Armstrong and Laurell K Hamilton Fans would love this!

I stumbled across this book whilst trawling through the dark fiction sections for something new to read, and I immediately thought "oh, yet another vampire book...", so I almost passed it by. I'm very glad I didn't. A quick read of the reviews made me give this one a go, mostly because they all seemed to point out that the vampire weren't "sparkly".

I don't usually read romance unless it has a plot (other than the central love story) that is more than a token to sell a bodice ripper and although this book was probably a little more "romance" than I usually can handle, the rest of the story made up for that tens time over.

This is no fluffy romance book and the author has no qualms about showing you the darker (and more interesting) side of vampires and werewolves and all manner of creatures. I've seen some low score reviews that complain about there being too many fantastical creatures all thrown into this story - absolute rubbish. Most of those other creatures are merely mentioned and inclusion of their existence adds more life and scope to the book's setting.

The plot centres on a few characters (that are very well developed) and their struggle to survive in a situation that gets more and more dangerous as each page is turned. The conclusion is awesome and the twists that you learn throughout the book are all "ahhh!" moments.

I loved it and I'm already waiting for the sequel. This book took me back to the days when I read Anne Rice's Vampire Lestat books and Brian Lumley's Necroscope series. I also think that Kelley Armstrong and Laurell K Hamilton Fans would love it.

This book makes you go "WOOOOW!"

Endlessly by C.V. Hunt is a mesmerizing and gripping Paranormal story, with elements of Horror, Fantasy and Romance. It's a highly addictive and very enjoyable read. C.V. Hunt has a way of telling the story in a way that makes you hold your breath and turn the pages frantically, and there's simply no way you could put the book down once you've started reading!

Verloren is a vampire with Curt Cobain's looks, who runs a paranormal store in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He is no Twilight-kind-of-vampire, no sparkles and squirrel-eating habits. He's a bad-ass (forgive my language) kind of vampire, goth-looking, with albino-like skin and long hair. He is the kind of vampire that you should stay away from. He feeds on human blood, because that's the only thing that keeps him alive. And yes, he's very much alive, his heart is beating, his body is warm and even though it hurts his eyes a bit, he can walk in the sun without any serious consequences. Most importantly, though, he has a special ability to see people's auras, and so, just by looking at them, he can tell who they are and how they feel.

The only thing that Verloren is afraid of is death, because vampires have no soul, therefore they can not reincarnate and death brings a final end to their existence. And so Verloren is doing his best to avoid getting into trouble with Quatre, a committee of four people that makes decision for all the supernatural beings, including vampires and incarnates (shape shifters). But when a beautiful and mesmerizing girl walks into his store, Verloren's world is about to be turned up-side-down, as he learns that there are feelings more powerful than fear, feelings like love and lust.

Just when I thought there was nothing more in the Paranormal genre that could surprise me, along comes a book like Endlessly and, with a strong punch in the guts, makes me realize I was wrong.

This book was such a great read! I finished it in few hours, as I was literally glued to it (well, ok, not literally, but it sure felt like it!). It's a fast-paced, action-packed story, with just the perfect amount of horror and romance. There's not a single boring passage in this book, C.V. Hunt makes every word count. I like how the story is told from Verloren's perspective and I'm very thankful to C.V. for using first-person narrative, it makes the story flow seem very natural and the passages are easy and pleasant to read!

The lead characters have amazing chemistry between them, you can almost see the sparkles flying from the pages, but at the same time the romance part of the story is not overwhelming, which I very much appreciate. And then there's the mystery part, which was oh-so-wonderful! I thought the story was really good from the very beginning, but when I reached the part where we learn about Ashley's true form, I was left speechless, with my jaw on the floor. What an amazing idea this was, C.V!
Endlessly has this thing I like to call a "WOW factor", that's the thing that makes you nod in excitement while reading one passage after another, and go "wooow, that's so cool!". I definitely recommend it to all Paranormal fans! I can't wait for the sequel!

    Endlessly Cool
In this opening book of the trilogy, author CV Hunt creates a world that feels all-too-possible for anyone afraid of things that go bump in the night. We're introduced to Verloren and Jason, vampire and werewolf friends who comprise a deadly hunt and feed tag team. All is well until Ashley waltzes into their store and triggers a chain of events that involves dragons, fairies, more otherworldly characters, the dreaded Quatre, and a high octane battle royal ending. It's so much more than your average vampire novel that you must read it for yourself.

For being hundreds of years old, Verloren just isn't that interesting. He kind of came off as just what he was pretending to be - a 18-22 Goth kid. I couldn't connect to him at all.
This book was okay. But trying to add logic to the whole sexual energy thing was ridiculous to me, when there was already another sufficient explaination for Ash's sexual appetite

    Great book!

It was a really good book. I loved all the characters although what happened ended up being very sad (sorry cant tell ya). I must say though im not a big fan of Ash. I found her desperate for sex and although that was explained it was really annoying. It was also annoying when she kept pushing him even though he said stop.... Maybe I'm being too harsh because their soulmates and in love but damn she was way too horny for me.

    Good quick read

Overall, this is a very good story. I agree that the characters are pretty well developed but some of the connections beyween characters seems to lack somewhat. The premise is very good and I enjoy that they do not dollow the typical supernatural rules i.e. fangs, sunlight, full moon etc. My biggest problemis simply that while Verloren begins by saying he would do everuthinf in his power to keep her from harms way he literally just sits back and waits for the appointed meeting and walkseight to it. I would have liked to have at least seen an attempt at trying to escape to add some chase action. While ultimately our couple lives, the ending was a little too abrupt aftet all the buildup. It is stilla good story and worth the read I just think it could have been a little more.
