Meet the Author

Debra Sheets, PhD, RN, is assistant professor in the Department of Health Sciences and Coordinator of the Interdisciplinary Gerontology Program at California State University--Northridge. Her research interests include aging and disability, intergenerational service learning, and aging, health, and disability policy. She is a fellow of the Gerontological Society of America and the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education.
