Children's LiteratureA conversation with a school librarian confirms that this book will be as wildly popular as the other three books that feature Nolan and his secret alter ego, Shredderman, the cyber-superhero. When Nolan's web site is revealed on the national evening news, he realizes that his identity could be uncovered and he very worried. The most sensible thing would be to stay out of the spotlight for awhile. But then Nolan stumbles on a spy operation involving the passing of classified documents and he knows Shredderman has to foil this threat. Things get even more complicated when Bubba, the school bully, figures out that Nolan is Shredderman. The black-and-white drawings provide the perfect, often comical, accompaniment to the text as they clearly depict what the characters are feeling and thinking. 2005, Borozi Books, and Ages 9 to 12.
