Editorial Reviews

Amazon.com - Yvonne Cunningham
"A Good Whodunit" -- The characters grab you right away in this page-turner. Like Loftus' 'Double Blind', 'Engaged to Kill' is a fast-paced, sexy murder mystery. I changed my mind about the killer every time the focus changed. A fun, easy read!
Amazon.com - Dave Bresler
"Better than James Lee Burke" -- I thoroughly enjoyed Engaged to Kill. Once I picked it up I couldn't put it down. As with Mr. Loftus' other thriller, Double Blind, the action is non-stop, the prose is well suited to the action-thriller genre and the plot is realistic. The characters are well drawn and the protagonist is appealing. You will find yourself rooting for him from start to finish. A great read.

A classic high-stakes "man in the middle" thriller. The protagonist has a lot to lose -- but even more to gain -- as he tests the boundaries of friendship, loyalty, lust and murder.  The characters are very, very human and their reactions to circumstances which they cannot control completely are exciting and real. It's like a cross between Hitchcock and Mickey Spillane.
