I've been a teacher for eight years. Our school library had Ruth Rice's English Teachers Book of Instant Word Games & I checked it out but procrastinated looking at it. Believe me, the title does not do it justice. I am finally buying my own copy for my gifted 13-yr.-old son, because these games make any English lesson, from 5th grade up, interesting! Ruth Rice's humor, imagination, irony, and cleverness sparkle throughout this book. I even enjoyed it myself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mary B.
