A wonderful account of an unfortunately necessary event in history. Those who condemn the use of the weapon don't understand the context of the time, which the book explains well.

A useful source of new information. Interesting to see how complicated the flight was and how lucky and uncertain was the second drop

A lot of insight that went on between the A bomb's development and dropping it to end WW2. A lot of people are still unaware, including our young school children, that using the A bomb saved millions of lives and shortened the war by years.

This is a great review of history for those of us who already were aware of this and a necessary read for todays youth to read and fully understand what took place during this time in our country.

Having killed thousands at a distance we do not condemn as a sin only if it is a few can we claim the person was insane when they murdered for what rational person would do such a thing if there is a world wide disease that becomes epidemic it is war with no vaccine in sight

A strong male walked in, face shrouded by a white mask. He had a list in his hand of things his Boss told him to make this girl do, and that he must record the reactions. It was his job, of course. Blonde hair poked around the mask, and he approachd her keenly. /Wanna go to res 6?\
