After a phone call changes my life, I shut the world out. Paralyzed by the fear gripping me, the darkness becomes inescapable. When I refuse to open my door, my best friend goes to the most notorious man in town.

Bruno's known to everyone in the neighborhood – he's feared and only spoken about in whispers. Only there's a problem – after he breaks down my door, he doesn't want to leave. I never expected to find a man with a heart bigger than his reputation.

But just like illusions, things are never what they seem. With fear surrounding me, only he can chase away the shadows.

This isn't your typical love story – it's a story of fight and survival. Most importantly - It's about finding the light and basking in the rays.

## Shame on whoever wrote this overview. I feel totally duped. We, the readers, should be warned that this is a book about CANCER. Many of us who have experienced this DO NOT want to relive it. One big 0.

5 star Review Enshrine by Chelle Bliss I have read several books by Celle Bliss and I have to say that this may well be her best book to date. If I could have given 10 stars I would. This was one of the most powerful books I have ever had the privilege to read. I laughed, I cried, I yelled out loud and I refused to put Enshrine down. I have to say whilst reading this book my heart stopped a few times. I read this in nearly one read, I had to know what was going to happen next! What an emotional roller-coaster Enshrine was. I love how caring Bruno is with Callie. He absolutely oozes sex appeal, dominance and control; a real alpha male, one I would most certainly love to have in my life. The connection between Bruno and Callie is palpable as is his connection with his sister Lee. This is a beautifully written love story. I fell in love with Bruno, his kindness, compassion and you will not quit attitude, was just what Callie needed. I also loved the secondary character of Becca, what an awesome best friend she makes. If I was fighting the fight Callie finds herself in I could do no better than to have Bruno, Becca and Lee by my side. Ms. Bliss writes with a depth of character that at times comes right out of no-where and knocks your socks off. The layers of emotions she peels back can at times be heart wrenching, shocking and surprising. From the first page till the last, I was totally riveted and invested in this story. I am also going to admit that it brought me to tears. I fell in love with Bruno and his family and I really hope that Chelle Bliss decides to write more about them. If you haven’t yet read this book, then do yourselves a favour and read it. It is a story of love, hope, trust and faith, believe in yourself and maybe, just maybe a miracle will occur.

This story will break your heart from the beginning so have extra Kleenex handy because you will need it. Callie is waiting on a life changing phone call. What she doesn't realize is who she will need when the call comes in. Bruno is a mystery to everyone, so that is why everyone calls him "the Butcher". Will Callie learn the truth? This story will break your heart but Chelle Bliss will put it back together by the end. I loved this story and I hope you take the time to read it and you will love it too.

I loved it. Anyone who has or had or took care of someone that has/had it can related. It took me on a emotional ride but it has a happy ending. My Mom had it and I helped my Dad take care of her till she passed Jan. 2000 & then my Dad had it and I took care of him till he passed Jul 2015.I recommend this to anyone 18yrs. & Up.

MUST READ Story by teh end of this semi small 2 person POV story I wanted more and craved so much more of Callie and Bruno that I was shocked to the core when it was over. I couldn't believe that it was over. I so wish I could talk about everything that happened in this story but I really can't I don't want to ruin such an eye opening and heart stopping story for everyone. Just know that the details are out of this world the story line is even better and better then ever before and of course like Chelle's other stories your left with wanting more and more. So wishing I could rate this story with more then 5 stars, the emotional level this story takes is one that really opens your mind. the journey all the characters embark on is over the top great and wonderful even more to read about and feel like your apart of that truly amazing journey. So worth the read over and over again. ***I received this story for free in exchange for an honest review, see more of my review @ http://jmhoward2007.blogspot.com/2016/02/blog-tour-review-enshrine-by-chelle.html ***

I read Enshrine a few weeks ago, and it wasn’t until today that I could sit down and properly form my thoughts about this book. Enshrine really hit a bit close to home to me with his cancer plot line. I related to Callie in a way that many may not be able to understand. It’s not that I have faced cancer, but I have watched from the sidelines as someone I loved very much when through many of these same emotions. I also share the same career as Callie fictionally does as a scientific researcher, and in my case, a cancer cell biologist. So just from those two facts alone you can see why this book was both hard for me to read and for my mind to let go off after so many weeks. Callie is given what she thinks is a death sentence and as a scientific researcher, she knows the odds and facts better than anyone else around her. Callie rescinds into a state of depression with the darkness creeping closer and closer to completely enshrining her. She has no one to lean on for support, and she refuses to let even her friend in to help her. She will face this demon or die alone because loneliness is the only thing she has ever known. That is until a very unlikely and surprising man comes barreling into her life just when she was about to give up completely. The way Bruno was first described you’d would have never imagined how his character would turn out to be in the end. I was afraid for Callie when this dangerous man broke down her door and thrust her back into the land of living. He was almost an enigma that floored me as his story unraveled. Yet, but the end of the book, I understood completely why I had the doubts about him that I did. Bruno is the kind of guy you hear about that swoops in as an angel of mercy during a freak car accident and disappears into the night without ever seeking credit for his actions. Sure, he has a gun and serious bad boy reputation, but with Callie, and subsequently, his family, he is a very different kind of man. Truth be told, I’d want a guy like him by my side during any battle. To call Enshrine a different kind of Chelle Bliss story is like calling a downpour a drizzle. Bliss steps out of her comfort zone and delivers a heart-wrenching yet real novel. Her level of detail with Callie’s specific treatments and side effects really left me in awe. Unless you have experienced cancer or had someone close to you fight this nasty disease, it is hard to imagine a story with this level of detail. Enshrine may be completely fictional in nature, but it is a call to all of those struggling with their battle with cancer to not give up. It is a call to fight, and to let those special kind of people in that want to help you fight. As much as you think you can do this on your own, you can’t. To those men and women out there currently fighting, keep your head up and your hearts strong. Fight until your last breath just as I fight alongside you in a laboratory to find a cure. Together, we can do this!

Bruno and Callie are two of the strongest characters I think I’ve read about lately. This is not the typical Chelle Bliss book. It’s about a woman who is going along happily in her life researching cancer. She spends her time buying all the clothes and shoes that she wants. Suddenly, she gets devastating news when she finds out that she has cancer. She splinters into a million pieces. Bruno has been on the sidelines of her life for several years. He steps up in an amazing way. I want to say that this is a very powerful look into a woman’s life and her struggles with a deadly disease. I highly recommend reading it. I hope if I ever find myself in this situation that I have the love and support from my husband that Callie receives from Bruno. Bravo, Chelle Bliss! You hit deep down in this book and made me think about the light in my own life. We all need to watch a sunrise after the dark. We might surprise ourselves in what we can survive.

I was disappointed. I don't want to spoil the plot, but although this book was a good read, very unrealistic.

5 star The story has laughs, pain, sadness, anger, fear, secrets, and heartbreak. This is Callie and Bruno’s story. I was sucked right into Enshrine. It was different then Chelle’s usual hot and dirty books but I still loved it. You could feel all the emotions Callie was suffering. You get to experience them all right alongside of her. You could feel the love that these two had and how it changed Callie. Callie and Bruno start their relationship at a time when some people would rather not. This just makes the couple stronger. That makes them both better people in the end and stronger supporters of each other. When all the secrets are revealed will it change how you look at either of them? I loved the beginning and the ending POV being his but the book being hers. Would love to read about some of the other characters that were in this story. Can’t wait to see what Chelle has in store for us next. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. I highly recommend this book.

I've read every Chelle Bliss book written, I've loved them all, I've connected with a few of them but never like I did with Enshrine. Callie wasn't my favorite character in the beginning, she was a bit high maintenance which doesn't work for me, but a phone call changed everything. She's strong, I loved that, there's nothing worse than a weak, whiny heroine. She has ties to Bruno but she doesn't know it yet. Loved that little surprise!! Bruno isn't quite what he seems, the thing you think he is he isn't but when you find out what he really is you'll love him even more. He's got a fierce protective streak and Callie in his sights, she doesn't understand at first, she was warned off him, that he's a bad man, no good for her. Luckily she didn't listen or she'd have missed out on something truly amazing. Callie and Bruno's relationship starts during a horrific time in Callie's life. A time most people wouldn't make the decision to get involved with someone, but they did and it was probably the best thing that could have happened to Callie. Enshrine is heartbreaking and exhilarating, with moments that will take your breath away. I promise you will fall in love with these characters, their story is absolutely amazing, I do believe I have a new book boyfriend, and he's a close second to my favorite of Bliss' men!

PHENOMENAL!!! I'm really not sure what I can say about 'Enshrine'.... having finished reading the most emotional read for me this year, I'm left feeling drained. I swear I spent over 80% of the book in tears, I was about 10% into reading this work of art & that's when they started... & they just kept falling. Chelle Bliss 'Enshrine' was inspirational, emotional, heartbreaking, awakening... & I couldn't put it down!! Everything from the start to the finish had me glued to Callie & Bruno's story, I LOVED this PHENOMENAL book.

EMOTIONAL There's not to much I can say without giving this PHENOMENAL book away. Chelle you have given me a better understanding of everything that almost all of the women in my family have gone through or will go through. This story takes you on a extraordinary journey filled with the highs and lows of a dark time in Callie's life where at first she loses all hope. Enter Bruno who has always watched Callie and saw his chance when life decide to take her on one helluva rollercoaster ride and he decide to join. Their love story is one the for the ages, this book will pull emotions out of you when you swore there was none left. Bruno is the light that help Callie realize that everything was done for a reason and that no one is defeated until there's absolutely no life in you left. This is a story that will touch everyone who reads it and I'm so honored to have being giving the privilege to read a story that captures the heart and the mind.

WOW!!!! That's the first thing that comes to mind when I thing of this book! It's by far my favorite of Chelle Bliss's books & that's saying a lot because I'm a HUGE Men of Inked fan! I love books that make me feel something & let me tell you Enshrine opens the gait on the feels! I didn't ugly cry but 90% of the book I was in tears & my stomach was in knots! I love Callie & Bruno! Callie, out of the blue, gets the call everyone dreads! She has no one except her best friend & has to prepare to fight for her life. Bruno, being the protector he is, steps in & helps her along with his sister! (OMG writing this review makes me want to re-read it) Everyone thinks he's a monster but Cal seeing something good in him! This is a story of love, fight, determination & perseverance! It has every element of a perfect book!! This will go down in my top books EVER! Bruno is now my fav book boyfriend of Chelle's books but don't tell City!! Highly recommend Enshrine!!

okay....ummm....first of all, yepp, I told Chelle 'f*@k you!' on facebook when I first started this book....hahahahaha seriously!, the reason?? not even 15% into the book and all I had done was cry...I am talking balling like a damn baby....do you know how hard it is to read and cry and read and cry and OMG!!! BUT...and I mean a BIG BIG BUT!!! This story is beyond words...I can't even begin to describe the amazing beauty and strength of the characters and the love that is there between friends. And Bruno...yeah, totally the most amazing book boyfriend EVER in the history of Chelle's books. I thought some of the Ink'd boys were some of the best, but NOPE!! well not really NOPE but Bruno certainly gives them a run for their money in the best book boyfriend department. The story is one that many will relate to in one way or another...from the life changing moments to the despair and fear to the absolute joy, you will need to keep your box of tissues on hand, be it tears of sadness/sorrow to tears of joy/happiness, Chelle will rip your heart open and heal it by the end of the book. Her words cause you to feel everything in such an honest and raw way that you can't help but get lost and totally absorbed into the story. I never wanted to put it down, and by the end I was so glad I didn't...it caused so many emotions and touched my heart to read this story. The strength of the characters, even at their weakest moments, was something to behold. The friendship and love they shared was without measure and completely raw and real. There is no way to truly tell you how good this book is other than to say, if you miss this book - shame on you! But certainly don't take my words for it...discover for yourself the magic of this word-weaver as she takes you on an incredible story that will stay with you long after you finish reading it. #mustread #oneclick #personalfavorite #nevergiveup #fightlikeagirl #nothingisasitseems
