A man's Past leads to his Future......

Agent Stone of the Shadow Unit's job is simple, most days. Work in the Shadows, police his own Kind.

When an unwanted assignment turns out to be his darkest fantasy from the past, Draven can't help but be conflicted by the memories of the past and his responsibilities in the future. But his decision has been made.

The Heart of a woman is Tested........

Jes can't let the tall dark agent back into her life.
How can she trust any man after what she's endured. Years of abuse have broken her down and she doesn't have room for more. The man she turns to for help hasn't abused her physically but he's tormented her emotionally. A past betrayal left her scarred, but also brought her life.

Can she accept him into her heart and trust him again?

One will survive and adapt, the other will realize hearts can be mended even if it's a bit too late.

The road to forgiveness sometimes only brings more pain. Unexpected events set their lives on two separate tracks leading to one outcome. Lives will be changed and an emotional battle to save their souls will leave them both trapped and enslaved in their need for one another.

Editorial Reviews

Kelly Mueller
Where do I start with this book.. Oh how I want to tell you about the ending, but that just would not be fair. Not fair at all. But Oh MAN!! OH, Oh *covers mouth*... Okay lets start at the beginning.
Enslaved is Tigris Eden’s debut novel and let me tell you I think she knocked it out of the park. This book has a little bit of everything. You have love, lust, trust, betrayal, failure and hope. And oh man I really wish I could tell you all the sordid little deals. But again that is me!

Meet the Author

I am eternally 29 years old. I love to write, read, listen to music, watch movies, and travel. My biggest goal right now is to be waited on hand and foot. Possibly a group of hot cabana boys, maybe two or three door men, a butler and personal chef and driver, for now. I adore oatmeal crème cookies and long walks to my pillow. I’m pretty laid back and I love to laugh.

I’m an ex-military brat, and have been to a number of wonderful places. I’ve been writing for as long as I was able to put pen to paper. I use to write music and play flute. So if it wasn’t music notes jumping at me to be put on paper it was words. True story: When I was growing up in Germany my father and I watched a lot of musical. Sound of Music, Annie…. You name it I’ve watched and probably know the words by heart. Anyway, I thought life was a musical and my first day of school I sang the entire day. Whether it was hello, my name is Katina or can I go to the restroom. Two years later I was asked to write about my very first day of school. When I wrote my story the teacher didn’t believe me, told me I was a big story teller. So I’ve been telling stories ever since, whether it was with music or words.

I live in Cypress with my Husband LL and my boys Darryl Joseph and Andrew and a newly acquired puppy name Kastor. When I’m not writing, I’m balancing payroll taxes, moving state wages, or answering that age old question. “Why don’t my wages in box 1 equal what’s on my pay stub.

    Good Story!

I thought the story was great. Unfortunately, I stumbled over the editing. While I was very happy everything was spelled correctly, I found myself getting hung up over sentences where the wrong word was used, especially at critical points in the story.

    Loved it!

When I first read the blurp for the book, I thought that it sounded interesting. As the read the book, I became hooked! At the end of the book, I was ready to scream. Not how I wanted the book to end, but I was hooked and I enjoyed the story line that I bought the second book. When I get a chance I will be buying the next books int the series as they come out!

I kept reading this book until my eyes crossed and blurred. I haven't enjoyed a paranormal shifter book in a long time. The love story of the character is a rough one to have and it still not settled. The journey will take you on a roller coaster ride that will make you mad, sad, and frustrated. With out spoilers, I will say the ending was not as expected and it will tear you up.

This paranormal unit will protect the human population from the evil Red Hand organization no matter what it takes in this thrilling paranormal romance. Agent Draven Stone was on assignment when he met his mate and he let her go, now years later he’s in for the surprise of his life when she walks back in needing protection.
This steady to fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on the edge with lots of suspense, drama, action and passion.  The author describes the story with well written scenes and details that capture the imagination and the well orchestrated action and suspense draws the reader deeper into the story.  The characters are strong, compelling and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning.
The attraction that Draven and Jes feel for each other explodes from the pages from first eye contact and the sex scenes blaze with a vibrant intensity that scorches the reader to their toes.  Really, how was this clueless alpha wolf able to walk from such passion? Of course when she walks back into his life and turns it upside down the sparks fly in every direction, but they will have to put that on hold as the danger escalates around them and Jes has some traumatic issues she has to overcome. The reader really can’t help but get caught up in their story as all the drama and excitement unfold and all the other intriguing characters in this Shadow Unit just suck the reader in even more ensuring that they want to know more.
The author has created a fascinating world with some very captivating characters, surprising twists and lots of action.  While there a couple of spots where it seemed a little slow, there was no way I could put this story down until I had read the very last word and I must warn you though, I was quite disappointed that Jes and Draven’s story doesn’t end and that I have to wait until I read the next book in the story.

My first thoughts on this novel?  What a twist and what a rush.

My first thoughts on this novel?  What a twist and what a rush.  This was awesome.  My final thoughts however, ‘you’ve got to be kidding me!  It’ can’t end like that!’  (vocally enough that my dogs came running).  A standalone novel this is not, but completely phenomenal none the less.

This novel is vividly visual right from the first page.  I can see the characters and their surroundings right in my mind’s eye. Eden’s off the walls, in your face writing style keeps you on your toes throughout.   Eden also sets off at a fast pace that she keeps up for most of the novel.  There were a few places where the story lagged as she fills in her readers about necessary background information, but that is bound to happen in the first novel of a new series.

I really like Eden’s take on the supernatural world.  As many different species and races as she presents, the supernaturals actually stick together for once.  At the same time, each of the supernatural races is individually developed.  As a reader you don’t get to know everything about any of the races, however you know as much about them as the other characters do.  It’s quite the unique concept.  The well-developed supernatural law enforcement agency is also very intriguing.

The characters in this novel are completely off the hook.  By individually developing each of the characters Eden allows them to stand on their own.  At the same time, she ties everyone together so that you can see how they fit into their unit and family as a whole.  With the large variety of character types in this novel there is someone for everyone to fall in love with and to identify with.  There is also someone for every reader to keep as the bad guy.

Overall, this was a brilliant introduction to the Shadow Unit.  It introduces you to the characters & the Shadow Unit while keeping you primed for future instalments.  Eden also tells a fast paced tale that keeps you captivated.  I cannot wait to read more from this series.

Please note that I received this novel free of charge from the author/publisher/blog tour company in exchange for an honest review.
