Entangled Souls by Felicia Tatum 3-6-15 Entangled Souls pick

    Entangled Souls by Felicia Tatum
    3-6-15

Entangled Souls picks up where Damaged Hearts left off.

Cade is out of in-patient rehab. He has to live with Reid and go to rehab therapy and AA daily. Cade credits Francesca with getting his life on track. The fact that she loves him in spite of everything makes him strive to be the man she deserves.

Cade's dad reaches out to him to try and mend their relationship. It isn't easy but they both realize it is worth fighting for. Cade begins to see that his dad is not fully responsible for his crappy life. He accepts he made too many wrong decisions.

Francesca's own law firm has enough clients to keep her busy and pay the bills. She finally comes to terms with the death of her sister.

While Entangled Souls deals with heavy emotional problems- addiction, grief, dysfunctional families- it is not a dark read. The story shows how people cope with their problems through rehab, admitting they own their problems, therapy, determination, and love. That it is possible to reach the light at the end of the tunnel if you try hard enough. It is an uplifting story with true love as its heart.

I definitely recommend reading Damaged Hearts and Entangled Souls. I am looking forward to reading more from Felicia Tatum.

I loved Mangled Hearts, so I am beyond happy that Francesca & Cade get their own novella! I will say though, this did not seem like a novella.. As is Felicia's way, her character development is amazing! I was deeply invested in this story.. I believe even more so than I was in Mangled Hearts. We see the pain of dealing with one's past, knowing that they need to, to be able to move forward into their future. What a wonderful book! It is nice to witness that love really does conquer most anything, if you hope & believe in it and the one that you are with!! I will be trying my best to be patient for the next in this series!!

Entangled Souls is a wonderful conclusion to the story of Francesca and Cade.

Their relationship started with challenges, and continues with them, but that does not deter them. I like that Tatum is able to give these two a happily ever after that makes sense, while not ignoring the very real challenges. Her handling especially of Cade's alcoholism has been solid. Rather than making it a plot gimmick, it is handled with sensitivity, and all the objections from the people around them are realistic. Nonetheless, as a reader you are happy to see them grow together, and to see Cade put his life together, through the support of those around him. A satisfying way to end their story. Ready for Daphne and Zander!

I must say, I loved it. Felicia brings us into a story that feels real and heart felt.

Francesca is a young lawyer who has struggled through some tough times but has come out on top. She's strong willed but has some deep rooted self-esteem issues.

Cade is an recovering alcoholic who is still going through rehab. He's turned his life around for Francesca and is struggling to keep it together.

I love how the story plays out. Their love is strong and will see them through their hardships. Really touching story.

I received a ARC to give a honest review!!

If you have read about Cade and Francesca in mangled hearts you will love the continuation of their story in Entangled Souls. Cade has just gotten out of rehab and Francesca is opening up her own law firm. They are fighting their own battles. Cade is fighting a battle to stay sober and become the man Francesca deserves. Francesca is fighting her insecurities about herself and her insecurities about her relationship with cade. Gets very emotional at times. Especially when Cade finally tries to work on his relationship with his Pops and when Francesca finally comes to terms with her sisters death... be prepared to shed a few tears.. It's a great story!!
