Most of the time I drag my feet to write reviews. There're times when I can't write a review even if I enjoyed the book. And most of the time I feel ok with not writing a review and keep that little gem of a book a secret (I don't do this often). BUT with Entreat Me not writing a review isn't an option, because I want YOU and you and you to read this lovely book. I need you to add it to your Goodreads TBR list! Because it would be a shame for you to miss out on this unique re-telling of The Beauty and the Beast. This book is for you if you: -Love reading. That's it. Even if you are not a fantasy fan you'll enjoy Entreat Me because this book is more about the characters than anything else. And trust me, you'll fall in love with the heroine, Louvaen Duenda. I wanted to be her; I don't think I've ever said that before in a review. I loved Louvaen. I couldn't get enough of her honesty, and witty humor. She was an exceptional character, and I know that it will be a long time for me to find a character like Lou, and that makes me very sad. For me to be able to enjoy a book, it has to have great character. I knew a few chapters in that I was going to finish reading Entreat Me. To my surprise it had a great plot, and the pace was amazingly fast, which I was upset about because I didn't want to finish the book! It was like holding sand in my hands, impossible to hold on forever *sad face*. The romance melted my heart. Ballard was the cherry on top of this delicious sundae of a book. Even before the curse he wasn't perfect. I loved his character because of him, what he stood for, and pretty much everything that made him Ballard. I never imagined him as a beast with ripped abs and tall and blonde fur. Even Lou admits that he's not handsome. I think we need more of this in books. We need realistic heroines with a little bit of weight on them and maybe a big nose. And we need heroes that aren't body builders. I don't mind abs; I'm just in need of something new. And this book gave it to me. I hope that maybe I made you look into this book and maybe I convince you to give it a try. I think Entreat Me was amazing, and I hope it gets disgustingly popular because it deserves to be in every Best Sellers list. It truly does.

Thoroughly enjoyed this unique version of Beauty and the Beast, with a heroine who has a touch of Katharina from Taming of the Shrew! Beastly hero is no pretty boy with a scar, but appealingly real - flaws and all.

We all know the story of beauty and the beast. True love breaks the spell. In this case it takes alot more to break this curse inflicted by the hate of a very bitter dying woman. And it's not just one beauty that has to love a beast but a pair of sisters so different and yet so alike. I couldn't put it down. In a few reviews you'll read that Louvaen just pissed off readers with her shrew ish attitude but I didn't find that the case. I loved her backbone and spirit and I laughed alot at what she said and the reactions of the people around her. The only thing I wish was different about this was *SPOILER- That instead of her dad filling the bad guy it was Louvaen or Ballard. Other than that I can't gush enough about this book!!!! I will definitely be reading it again.

Oh my goodness this book was wonderful! I actually bought it right after I bought master of crows by the same author because I loved the other story so much. Anyway this story kept me hooked and for someone who was of the opinion of well beauty and the beast its been done so no suprises. I can admit I was pleasantly wonderfully suprised by the depth of the characters and I was totally on the ride with them. I cried and smiled happily during the coarse of the book it was a good fantasy book that was well rounded though I'm coming to find out that is just the awesome style of this writer she puts a little of everything in her books. The dark tortured hero and the brave heroine made me want a HEA for the couple more than any book has in a long time at least for me, as for what happens u will have to read to find out. Enjoy!

This was a new twist on a old story. I loved it. If you like Jennifer Blackstream you will like this story. I thought this was better than Master of Crows although I like that one also.
