Meet the Author

The Late Nelson L. Nemerow, PhD, was an environmentalengineering and water consultant. He was a professor at theUniversity of Miami and the former head of EnvironmentalEngineering at Syracuse University. He published over 210 technicalpapers and twenty-three textbooks.

Franklin J. Agardy, PhD, is founding partner of ForensicManagement Associates. As a civil engineering professor, hedeveloped San Jose State's graduate program in sanitaryengineering. He has written, coauthored, or coedited seventextbooks.

Patrick Sullivan, PhD, is founding partner of ForensicManagement Associates. Prior to his forensics career, he was asenior environmental analyst at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory atthe California Institute of Technology. He has written, coauthored,or coedited five textbooks.

The Late Joseph A. Salvato served as a sanitary and publichealth engineer consultant and assistant commissioner in theDivision of Sanitary Engineering for the New York State Departmentof Health. He was also a Fellow of the ASCE and the APHA andadjunct associate professor at Rensselaer PolytechnicInstitute.
