About the Author

Valerie Ellery, serves as Women’s Ministry Leader at Bayside Community Church in Florida, reaching over 5,000 members. She ministers, coordinates conferences, and leads retreats that support women to become fully devoted followers of Christ. As a former National Board Certified Teacher, she had a personal experience with her son’s reading problem that launched her journey for understanding reading and fulfilling her life’s mission to inspire and transform lives.

After acquiring her Master’s in Reading, her first educational book was published, Creating Strategic Readers. She is currently an international Inspirational speaker and Educational trainer. Whether in churches or educational venues, Valerie is dedicated to encourage others to be readers of the Word, confident in who they are, and dedicated to seeking their dreams. She lives with her husband Gregg, has four children, a granddaughter, and is a Warrior Woman for God.
