About the Author

Alastair Hudson is Visiting Professor of Law at the University of Reading. He has been Professor of Law at Queen Mary University of London; University of Southampton; University of Exeter; and University of Strathclyde where he was also Head of School. He is a National Teaching Fellow, a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and has been voted UK Law Teacher of the Year. He is the author of 22 books on various aspects of law which have been relied upon by the courts of numerous jurisdictions around the world.
