Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Allison Fetters
When Hal Jordan, The Green Lantern, is traveling to the Kilowog training site, he receives an emergency call saying he is needed for a top secret mission. Green Lanterns have disappeared from several space sectors with no trace. Administrators of Green Lantern Citadel task Hal Jordan and Fendor, a Sector 118 Lantern, with the job of searching for the missing lanterns. Hal Jordan and Fendor both have a close call with Larfleeze, but in the end, they not only escape but also manage to rescue their comrades. The glossary is succinct and informative as it provides clear definitions for new words presented in the text. The illustrations throughout are artistically displayed contributing to the overall artistic and entertaining quality of the text. The supplemental information, such as the discussion questions, writing prompts, and on-line suggestions, provide the reader with additional resources to explore the world of the Green Lanterns in greater detail. "DC Super Heroes Green Lantern" series. Reviewer: Allison Fetters
