Overview

A young man struggles to guard and sustain his love for God, his fiancée, and his family when faced with the brutality of Sharia law.

Escape the Hezbollah is a glorious story of how love can endure through the most cruel, hostile, and depraved environment imaginable.

Friends begin to go missing and rumors surface. Some of Joseph's friends are never heard from again. Joseph becomes entrapped in the mystery of his friends' disappearances when, one day after work, he and his friend, Fareed, are forcibly thrown into the backseat of a black Nissan and abducted.

The two young men are forced to join a ruthless militia.

This military, formed by the IRG to protect Lebanon from invasion by the Israelis, contradicts its credence. Joseph witnesses the most horrific sins that man can inflict upon another human being and he wants out. He thinks his Maker has abandoned him and he questions God's very existence, ultimately doubting his own faith.

After grueling years of enduring this military life, escape, and concealment, a way opens up for him to safely flee the country and eventually return to the U.S.\

    Escape the Hezbollah

This book kept me wondering what would happen next. What a unique story, great climax. I want to know what happens to Killer-man. He's an interesting goon.

    Do you have the faith....?

I recently finished reading a powerfully intense work by Pola Muzyka. "Escape the Hezbollah" follows a young man through the ultimate test of faith and love. The main character Joseph is kidnapped into the Hezbollah army and forced under Sharia Law. This powerful story follows Joseph through his struggles to keep his faith in God while trying to stay alive, protect the ones he loves and escape.

This is a powerful , inspiring book. Not only well written, but well researched. I was taken by the research involved in the overall story as well included "glossary of events".
Overall the book really makes you think about your faith, your passion, your conviction. What would you do in his situation? Do you have the faith to stand up for God even in your darkest hours?

Riveting! Just grabs your guts and never lets go.

I've looked at Escape from Iran and it seems like a low end self publish in comparison to this clear high-end novel. I'm interested in books about Iran because of the turmoil and dominance of the global news in recent years. Escape the Hezbollah really takes the reader into the depths of the darkest part of Iran and clearly demonstrates how difficult it is for good people to live peaceful lives, let alone a good Christian family thrust into the midst of it with Azita and Joseph trying desperately to hide their identities and true beliefs.

Escape the Hezbollah has tremendous depth in its characters, cultural diversity and is just very well written. Indeed a unique and refreshing writing style.

A must read in my opinion. I'd enjoy a sequel and a movie would be a blockbuster.

This book looks to me like it has been copied from another book I have read called "escape from Iran" ???

Escape from Iran was a true story I believe, and therefore a much more interesting and thought provoking read.
