Overview

Eleanor is tired of being a spinster no one ever notices. Life for a twenty-six year old unwed woman in 1811 is dreadfully dull. She can’t have an affair at the risk of ruining her family’s reputation…unless she finds a way to do so without the slightest risk of discovery. Dare she travel two hundred years into the future to have a 1Night stand with the help of Madame Eve?

Thomas struggles daily to move on after the death of his beloved countess, but being the most highly sought after bachelor of the ton doesn’t allow him much privacy to do so. All he yearns for is a night of lust and fun, with a woman who can make him remember what it feels like to be swept away by passion. Traveling two hundred years into the future seems to be the perfect solution for both discretion and ease.

What will happen when they discover they didn’t escape their lives at all, but merely found each other?

A cleverly set 18+ erotic novella in the 1Night Stand series, this book turns the premise of the one night stand on its ear. An earl, recently widowed turns to the 1Night stand agency and its proprietor, Madame Eve, to escape the conventions and constrictions of his Victorian-era life. The solution is simple – time travel 200 years in the future to ‘scratch the itch’ so difficult to assuage in his life.

Spinster daughter of a Viscount, unmarried and on the shelf, 26 year old Eleanor has battled with unrequited love from afar, and never known the touch of a man. Enter Madame Eve and her time-traveling wrist watch and Eleanor can travel 200 years in the future to have an experience to treasure the rest of her life.

Written with a clever set of twists, engaging dialogue and steamy sex scenes, this is a short novella that is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Who can’t spend an hour with the author’s clear writing style, descriptive manner and intermingling of regency settings with the modern and current? It is well worth the reading time, and a story that is complete of itself- but creates characters that you want to see more of.

I received an eBook copy from the author for purpose of honest review with Full Moon Bites tour. I was not compensated for this review, and all conclusions are my own responsibility.

I would have liked to have seen this book expanded. It is only 84 pages. Too much money for no more than what it was.
