Robbie's a cheeky chappie with the talent to match!

Not being biased by the fact that I am a fellow Brit.....this album showcases Robbie's cheeky style and true versatility in terms of style. He truly is an icon... Wish he had done as well as he deserves to over here in the US...shame. Perhaps a tad too over the top...Anyway, give the album a shot...it's GREAT!!

A little Robbie goes a long way

I moved back to the US after living in England for 12 years, Robbie Williams is British rock! The man says it himself, "I'm the one one who put the Brit in celebrity" (Handsome Man) Take any of his albums and listen to it day after day because it will never fail to entertain and amuse you!!

    Excellent Artist

I think Robbie Williams is an unbeleivable artist, and this album just further proves it even more. It's about time the US should give him the credit as an unbeleivable artist. This is pop music at its best and what it SHOULD be. I hope he breaks into the US because it would totally be a loss for USA listeners. They would be missing what the whole world sees as a really taleneted artist.

    will Robbie conquer the US?

I just read an article in Spin that mentioned how this was the album that was going to make a name for Robbie in the U.S. I think Robbie is great, but I don't think this is the album for him. Escapology grows on me the more I listen to it, but I think an album like Sing When Your Winning had more of a chance here. However, I have high hopes for a video to 'Me and My Monkey.'

Escapology proves that Williams deserves MORE exposure in US!

I've been a fan of Robbie since The Ego Has Landed and I have to say that Escapology is by far his best work to date. He has truly matured as an artist, yet he still gives us a taste of his quirky cockiness that his fans know and love so well. If you have not listened to any of Robbie's music, I highly recommend this disc. You won't be disappointed! Robbie is definitely ripe to explode here in the US. I've been waiting for it since "Ego" and this disc should do it for him. His talent surpasses that of many of the so-called "pop" stars here in the states and he definitely deserves the recognition. Wake up US music fans, you don't know what you have been missing!!!!

Escapology Showcases Williams as a Multitalented Musician

Escapology takes the familiar sounds of Robbie Williams and adds in refreshing guitar riffs and even some throwbacks to old soul music (think "Revolution"). In an age where music is severely sequestered into different categories I love being able to listen to an album that contains so many different sounds. It is a rarity that artists such as Williams can take their sound so much deeper. In comparison to his former albums, Williams definitely shows a new musical maturity. An artist such as he deserves more recognition than that which he is receiving here in the states.

    robbie rocks

Mr bush is overly critical. This is great pop music that deserves to be heard. The fact that Robbie Williams is a relative unknown in the United States is not only unfortunate, its downright criminal. After "Sing when you're Winning" featured some weaker songs than we heard in "Ego", Robbie returns with a more mature album that features many different styles of music. Robbie rocks hard in "Song 3", mellows out in softer tunes such as "Sexed up" and shows off the LA lifestyle he's been living in "Hot fudge". If you're a fan of many diverse types of music, you can't ask for anything more than this. Robbie mixes alternative, rock, and brit pop music onto one album. This CD is a winner all the way, and hopefully will finally be recognized by Americans.
