This book has some good points, but when teaching from it, I realize it should be more for a Level 2 rather than for a beginner. The pictures are not attractive as other books have. My student did not like it bouncing around so quickly, he preferred to keep to one topic, e.g. Pronouns, verbs, etc. I moved to the Intermediate which concentrates on one topic at a time but I had to move very slowly. The CD isn't that great. I've seen better. It might be a good resource for practicing worksheets or quizzes.
