    so close!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to being perfect!

    It was,but it did not have that last little touch to it. That was ,not all the pages had color, but other than that it was perfect!

    It was awesome!!!

    It was great because every comic in it could'nt be better. It's a long book but it is so good it just flys by. If you haven't read Calvin And Hobbs before you should.It's my favorite comic book. READ IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Thoroughly Witty

    Watterson brings Calvin and Hobbes to life with originality, wonder and fun. I bought this for my seven year-old and I hope he finds it as wonderful as I have.

    Calvin and Hobbes

    Okay, so this isn't a book that would turn the world around but if you just want some good old fun reading about a boy and his imaginary friend then you need to read these. I buy them for my son who is an avid fan of Calvin and his antics. He received two of these books for Christmas and loved them both. I think they are the kind of book that a bachelor should have in his house on a coffee table as a great ice breaker especially if your guests have never heard of these two characters.

    I love Calvin and Hobbes, I want to give them 100000000000 stars!!!! My gramma read them, my mom read them, and now me and my sister are reading them! I even lent the book to my BFF! She lovees it also, and a lot of my guy friends read it, too! If you haven't read it, and you have about 10 bucks spending cash, I sugest this book!!!!!!

    Calvin and Hobbes -- They are incredible. Thank you Bill Watterson for creating them and their adventures.

    I've collected all? the collections available. This purchase was a gift for a 13-year-old boy, and we knew it would be very well received. These compilations are great to keep in the car to re-read while waiting for appointments, etc. This book, and others that Mr. Watterson has blessed us with, are great for deck-sitting in the summer, and curling up on the couch on rainy or snowy days. Calvin's snowman creations, antics with parents, and the joint imaginations of this boy and his stuffed but very-much-alive cat, Hobbs, are always an entertaining! Kudos for the super-sized vocabulary. Kids won't even realize they're learning...

    calvin and hobbes

    i got this book for my 10 year old son and he loves it now my little girl likes to read them as well she is 9yrs.
    it gets my daughter to read more. she likes to laugh a lot and it is a really funny book for the whole family.

    OMG Awesome

    I think that this book is awesome. I really enjoyed this book. There are so many funny parts in the book. I think it is funny when Hobbes does something but Calvin gets blamed for it. I reccomend that if you like comics like me then get these books.

    If you live with "a Calvin" this is a must have

    I was lucky enough to give birth to a "Calvin". He's our middle and always felt like he didn't quite have a place of his own until I introduced him to the entire Calvin and Hobbes collection. Now we have the priveledge of enjoying him with all his uniqueness and spirit AND sharing a bit of his character with friends and relatives with the Calvin comics. HE has someone to relate to and his spirit is soaring! We all love these characters! Thank you Mr. Watterson!

    this OLD book is NOT new!!

    Yes, it's a wonderful book, but the chutzpah of B & N to desribe it as "This new treasury". If you click on the paperback link, you'll see its earlier incarnations--from YEARS ago.
