Nicely assembled party set, to say the least, with some interesting choices: remixes of Bob Marley, Cher, and Paula Cole are worked in with Filter, Moby, and Vengaboys. DJ Skribble's mixing is precise, matching tone as well as bpm, something that adds to the experience of an album

Overview

Nicely assembled party set, to say the least, with some interesting choices: remixes of Bob Marley, Cher, and Paula Cole are worked in with Filter, Moby, and Vengaboys. DJ Skribble's mixing is precise, matching tone as well as bpm, something that adds to the experience of an album like this. For what it is, it's good.

This CD is an awesome compilation of some of the hottest dance songs from 2000. Unfortunately, they packed too many songs on one cd. The result: When you start to get into the groove with one song, the next song suddenly hits. I prefer dance compilations with 12 tracks max on them, that mix the songs together, but then let them play out until the perfect moment to mix the next song in. Speaking of mix by the way, his technique is great, and I really think he's a great re-mixer, I just wish they wouldn't cram so many tracks onto one CD.

BRING A DJ THAT HAS REAL EXPERIENCE AND RECOGNITION AND HAVE HIM PUT OUT A CD WITH ORIGINAL TRACKS. IF YOU HAVE ANY TASTE FOR CLUB MUSIC, SKIP ON GETTING THIS CD. THIS CD IS ALL SONGS THAT YOU WOULD HEAR ON YOUR LOCAL TEENIE BOOPER RADIO STATION. IT HAS NOTHING UNDERGROUND OR ORIGINAL. GET ANOTHER CD
