    An anthology of one of the most important modern Jewish thinkers

    This anthology presents excerpts of the writings of one of the most important thinkers the Jewish people have had in modern times. A Halachic Jew with a deep sense of the meaning of Jewish history he contends with the most difficult questions of Jewish life. His fundamental intergrity and humane approach combine with his deep religious insight make this a work onethat anyone interested in Jewish thought should read.
