Anna Proudfoot (Oxford, England) was born in Scotland but has spent long periods in Italy since childhood. Since graduating from the University of London, she has taught Italian in higher, further and adult education in London, Cambridge, the USA and now Oxford. Her main interests are in developing language materials for adult learners and she has written other Italian Grammar textbooks. She is currently Head of Italian at Oxford Brookes University, where she is also in charge of Oxford Brookes Language Services, which offers language training for business and runs intensive Italian language weekends for the general public.
Ideal for both beginners and intermediate students, these books make it easy to learn grammar independently. They can be used as accessible "dip-in" references or as grammar courses to work through.
