    Perfect for a wine geek

Great pics, great layout, great design, but this one isn't for someone trying to learn the difference between Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. You could definitely do it with this book, but the depth of technical knowledge is geared toward someone with a bit of existing wine experience. Some of it is dry and some of it, in my opinion, is a bit conservative and "traditional", but it's all good information nonetheless. Well worth the money.
