    Burning Ring of Fire!

This book explains in depth everything a fire fighter will need to know to pursue this career and teach about this occupation. This is more of a text book for schools which explains everything from medical explanation to different types of ways buildings are constructed. The sole purpose of this book is to obviously learn the essentials of fire fighting. I would deffinatly reccomend this book to tech schools and fire fighting academies. If you are interested in learning about fire fighting you should deffinatly read this book.

    I Also Recommend:

A comprehensive book from an authoritative source

Danger, excitement and tragedy are all parts of being a firefighter. While this book covers each of those it goes in depth of the actual work of a firefighter making it invaluable to new recruits learning the job.

Essentials of Fire Fighting and Fire Department Operations is a great preparation guide for anyone studying to pass a Firefighter I/II exam. It systematically walks the reader through the tasks required of firefighters, both on scene and at the firehouse. In addition it is a great resource for the fledgling firefighter to learn and understand the concepts behind firefighting, such as the fire tetrahedron and water flow.

This book would be a great addition to any fire science library and a great tool for those studying/reviewing to pass a fire officer or certification exam.
