Overview

Quickly acquire the knowledge and skills you need toconfidently administer, score, and interpret the WMS®-IV

Complete coverage of administration, scoring, interpretation, and reporting

Expert advice on avoiding common pitfalls

Conveniently formatted for rapid reference

The most recent revision of one of the most popular memory assessment instruments, the Wechsler Memory Scale-Fourth Edition (WMS®-IV) is a widely used measure of memory functioning, which is particularly useful in the assessment of individuals with dementia, traumatic brain injury, and substance abuse problems, among others. Professionals need an authoritative source on administration, scoring, and interpretation in order to use this test properly. Written by the test developers for the WMS®-IV, Essentials of WMS®-IV Assessment is that source.

Like all the volumes in the Essentials of Psychological Assessment series, this book is designed to help busy mental health professionals, and those in training, quickly acquire the knowledge and skills they need to make optimal use of major psychological assessment instruments. Each concise chapter features numerous callout boxes highlighting key concepts, bulleted points, and extensive illustrative material, as well as test questions that help you gauge and reinforce your grasp of the information covered.

Integrating WMS®-IV data with the WAIS®-IV and other measures of cognitive ability and memory for adults, Essentials of WMS®-IV Assessment now includes four new subtests and a revised index structure. The authors also offer expert assessment of the test's relative strengths and weaknesses, valuable advice on its clinical applications, and several illuminating case studies.

    Amongst Gods:Chp.1- Redemption (part 2)

*I ran upstairs till I made it to Hui's office doors. I could here Hu yelling at someon about us pooping on his parade. I looked checked my ammo and looked behind me to see if anyone else would come up. No one came, but I still heard gunshots knowing that my friends were still fighting. I took in a deep breath and threw the door open shooting diwn two soldiers. I ducked under a desk as i was being fired at. I rolled to the side of the desk and shot another soldier. I saw a 4th running toward me and waited till he was close. I pushed his gun downward and shot him in the throat. I used his body as a shield and shot the last two soldiers. I dropped the body and confronted Hui.*
Zeus:"I got you now you piece of s<_>hit. Do you know how many people you killed?" I said still aiming my gun at Hui's head.
Hui:" Yes. I do. Do you think I care?" He responded sounding amused.
Zeus:"You killed my friend, and I'm going to return the favor." *I said as I squeezed the trigger.
A huge explosion came from downstairs and knocked both of us off our feet.
Zeus:"What was that, Red?" I asked as I stood. Red:"Enemy birds are firing at the building. You gotta get out of there, Zeus! All squads! Return to the Drop Off Zone! Now!"
Zeus:"I have to kill Hui first!" I say as I look at him.
Hui:"Seems you won't get to do that today." He says as he shoots me in the leg and laughs holding his pistol.
I fall to my knees in pain and look for a weapon to bash Hui's skull in with. I see Wolf as he runs in, shooting Hui in the shoulder and also getting shot by Hui in the chest.
Zeus:"Wolf!" I yell out as he dropped.
Wolf:"Get Hui!"
A Redemption helicopter flies toward the window shooting it so Hui could jump on. Hui makes a break for the window but with all my might I force my self to stand and tackle him. We both fall out of the building and I watch as my life flashes before my eyes. Hui screams in terror before he hits the ground. I close my eyes waiting to die. I feel a sharp pain in the lower part of my stomach and slowly open my eyes in shock. I see a pole jutting out of me, covered in my blood. But that didn't shock me....I was still alive after falling seven floors with Hui. I turned to my right to see Hui a splattered heap of meat p, then turned to stare up at the sky.
Zeus:"I...sh-should...be dead.." I say as ai slowly closed my eyes.
"But you're not. Wake up my dear." A voice says.
I open my eyes to see a young woman in her late 20's she wore strange clothes and wore a golden helmet and held a spear.
Zeus:"Wh-who are you?" I spit out in pain.
"I am.. Athena."
That's it 4 chp.1! Chp.2 will be out sometime tomorrow, so plz comment!
