Overview

Evangelism Is . . . contains forty brief chapters of high-octane, rut-breaking equipment, empowerment, and encouragement for all who are ready to share Jesus more passionately and confidently with others. Each call-toaction entry stands alone but can easily be connected to other chapters, all of them finishing the sentence that begins with the book’s title. For example, Evangelism Is . . . “Joyfully Intoxicating,” “The Real Business of Life,” “The Supreme Challenge of This Generation,” “Leading People to True Conversion,” “Washing Feet,” “Praying Prodigals Home,” “Empathy with Action,” “Giving a Logical Defense of Your Faith,” “A Family Affair,” etc.

The book’s appendix also includes articles on what evangelism is not, evangelism in the early church, and sharing Jesus, plus sample plans for sharing one’s faith.

This is used as a textbook for Liberty University's Evangelism 101 course. This book is amazing!! It truly takes you through the history of the early church and also the methods used then and now. This book is rich in information, methods, history and the skills needed to not only understand what evangelism is and is not but also it equips you to evangelize your friend(s), neighbor(s), family, community, nation and the world if you want to! This book truly is a masterpiece and an awesome tool in the hands of anyone who wants to learn how to and what is evangelism! It was also a great easy read! The authors did a great job of allowing their words to flow from one page to the next. This book is very hard to put down! It kept my attention from cover to cover! I truly recommend this book to anyone who is in ministry and anyone who wants to evangelize without shoving the Word of God down someone's throat. It was truly an eye opening read and I'm so blessed that I got to learn so much from this book! I have been evangelizing for over two decades and this book has truly put so many things into perspective! It has lit a fire deep down in my bones and I truly can say Praise God that I have now been taught much more effective comfortable and awesomely effective ways to evangelize! I PRAISE GOD for this book!
