Kari inherited her love of learning and writing from her parents, Ruth and James. Her greatest inspiration for her books and stories comes from her family. (Which is quite large.) With four siblings, two nieces, four nephews, in addition to her aunts, uncles, grandparents, and parents, Kari has no end to usable material for her tales!
Having a strong love of history, she often strives to include insights gained from learning from the past, which, she feels, prepares us for a brighter future, indeed.

    Good Sunday read!

I enjoyed this book tremendously, finding it to be akin to reading a Jane Austen novel. I am looking forward to more books from this author.

What a great story from start to finish

What a great concept telling the story of this family by the house. Evening's Hollow is the name of the house, who relates the comings and goings of this family.

I had to keep coming back to the book because I could not wait to find out what happened next.

Best weekend I have had with a book in a long time, I hope to find more by Kari Lawson
