An orphaned, small-town, southern girl, held hostage by responsibility and self-doubt.

A Hollywood A-list mega-star, on the run from his latest scandal and with everything to lose.

A chance encounter that leads to an unlikely arrangement and epic love affair that will change them both forever.

When his co-star and real-life girlfriend is caught cheating on him with her director, A-list hottie, Jack Eversea, finds himself in sleepy Butler Cove, South Carolina. Jack hopes the sultry southern heat in this tiny coastal Lowcountry town will hide him not only from the tabloids and his cheating girlfriend, but his increasingly vapid life and the people who run it. He doesn't count on meeting Keri Ann Butler.

Keri Ann has relied on herself so long, dealing with her family's death and the responsibilities of keeping up her family's historic mansion, that boys and certainly the meager offering of eligible boys in Butler Cove, have never figured into her equation. But fate has other plans. Suddenly face to face with the man who played the movie role of her favorite fictional character, Jack has Keri Ann yearning for everything she has previously avoided ... and Jack must decide whether this funny, sassy girl is worth changing his life for, before his mistakes catch up to him.

Wonderful, wonderful book! I read this and right away had to get the sequel, Forever Jack. I read Forever Jack yesterday, and thank goodness it was a slow day at work! I couldn't stop reading! I love Jack, and well, Keri Ann needed a good shake a couple of times, but all in all, it's a great read and a very endearing couple. Can't wait for number 3!!

“If I'd known you were in my future, I would have chosen differently.” - Jack “If you had chosen differently, you would have never found me.” - Keri Ann How can you not love Jack and Keri Ann? I certainly couldn't resist them. This book absolutely sucked me in. To the point where it caused me physical pain to put it down to go to sleep.  This book had the perfect mix of romance, humor, angst and sexy time. I found Keri Ann and Jack to both be totally believable characters. The small-town setting was well-executed. Of course, it also had a virtually soul-crushing twist and a cliffhanger ending you've come to expect from most NA lit. To say I'm anticipating the sequel would be an understatement. But, until it's here, I'll continue to squee over this one. :)

I haven't read any of her books but I am a fan for life now. I loved the story of Jack and Keri Ann. I felt a range of emotions from, anger and elation at different times during the book. Natasha Boyd certainly knows how to keep you entwined and interested in the storyline. You will fall in love with not only the main characters but also some supporting characters. Kudos to the author for bringing us swoon worthy story.

I have heard such great things about this series and finally decided to take the plunge. Here we have small town girl who lands the heart of a celebrity on the run from his life. Jack Eversea is tired of his controlled life and needs a break but what he didn't intend to do was fall in love. Keri Ann is just a plain jane type of girl minding her own business until Jack Eversea walks into her life. Keri Ann is a bit taken back about meeting Jack Eversea but she's honest to the core and calls it as she sees it, which makes Jack take even more notice of her. Keri Ann is a bit frightened by Jack's world but she can't stop how she feels about him. As Keri Ann starts to give more of herself to Jack his past comes charging back making her doubt everything. After Jack basically destroys her, she really never has given up hope but can she handle his life or the displeasure of her brother and others? "I just know that the way he was looking at you, he's coming back someday. I need you to be prepared for that and to know I won't let him mess with you again." Jack and Keri Ann have a whirlwind meeting but emotions are involved which is the cause of so much torment between these two star crossed lovers. Jack's world is not like the normal world, it's a world that all is not as it seems, but that false reality could be the cause of a greater loss that Jack may never recover from.

Why Only Two Stars?  Full disclosure:  I have a bias against celebrity-centered romance stories.  There's always a self-effacing small-town waif with an over-the-top sob story. In this novel the hero has one too. Pile on a Cruella-de-Vil-style Bad Lady, the endearing little old lady next door,  and a host of stock characters found in your run of the mill romance.  A story this routine should be wrapped up fairly easily, but there is actually a cliffhanger ending.  To this strikingly unoriginal story.  Thank goodness the book was free, I only wasted my time not any money.

I liked this book and look forward to reading the sequel. The writing was good and the character development was nice, I really enjoyed   all of the  supporting characters and the story had a nice flow it. However, there were a lot of cliche things (not always a bad thing) about  this book that made it not quite a 4 or 5 rating for me. The sex scene was kind of unrealistic, which I understand is on par for most romance   novels of this nature. But still even I couldn't suspend my disbelief that much. There were some melodramatic parts, a few cliche plot  devices that I saw coming a mile away- and a very inaccurate comparison between Pride and Prejudice and Twilight that if I'm honest kind  of pissed me off...Like seriously know it's petty and it's a total two sentence in the book, but it still left me miffed and a bit outraged on behalf of Jane Austen..Just saying. But in all honesty this book didn't really have any WOW or AHMAZING qualities for me. But it was a good read for what it was. and I would recommend it.

I kept putting this book off to read others because I thought it was going to be just another romance novel. It wasn't. The story was one, I thought, had been done before, but it wasn't. It was well written with only a few edits that were missed in the ebook version. I enjoyed Keri Ann's naive but realistic view of things and the honesty in Jack (most of the time). I look forward to reading the next book.

Right off the bat, I thought the cover was pretty and almost immediately knew I would love this book!  I though Eversea by Natasha Boyd was quite refreshing actually! While I love most genres, I seem to lean more towards dystopians, apocalyptic, sci-fi fantasy and funny mystery novels. I think it's because reading is my greatest form of escapism and how much different can your life be than something with aliens in it right? Anyway, I explain this because Eversea is not one of those genres that fit into one of those categories, and yet, I really enjoyed it! I read it in like, a day, if that's any indication, LOL.  I thought having the storyline from Keri Ann's point of view for pretty much most of the book was awesome and I quite liked that character. I could identify with her. She's insecure (come on...who isn't, right?), ambitious but caught up in “life”, and she seems to have a good head on her shoulders yet still has a sense of humor, and knows how to treat people.  I also really liked Jack, though to be honest, I wasn't fawning over him like it seems other readers are doing. I have no idea why, other than maybe because while I think he sounds totally hot and god like, I think I would have treated him the same way Keri Ann did....like a normal person...because that's what he is...just a normal guy with a pretty awesome sounding career! I have had the opportunity to meet and Hell one even hang some famous people, and either wanted to give them the privacy they probably wanted or just wasn't that fussed on hanging...and these were people I actually thought were pretty awesome...so maybe that's why I wasn't ga ga crazy over Jack.  Jazz was a fantastic character too, I thoguht. Just what you need in the BFF, and I think she filled her rolled well.  SPOILER ALERT/SEX TALK ALERT I'll be honest though, the only part of the book I actually thought was laughable, and not in a good way, was the sex scene. Like the full on sex scene. There is a point in the book where Keri Ann is about to give away her “flower” to Jack, and  it's like right on the cusp of happening and Jack is like “Oh, I don't want to hurt you.” and Keri Anne basically tells him it's cool, it's what she wants, no craves and pretty much tells him to shove his entire length inside her no stopping...COME ON! Now, let me confess something quickly. I usually hate the sex scenes in books when they are drawn out. They never usually live up to the real life version, the guy is always monstrously huge, and it'[s never awkward, but in real life sex is sometimes awkward, more often than not your guy is average, and orgasms do not come by the dozen in normal sex...and no, I am not just speaking from experience, I have had friends, close cousins, confidants that have shared their sex lives and yeah, you get the occasional raunchy role in the hay that's Playboy magazine worthy but NOT EVERY TIME AND DEFINITELY NOT THE FIRST TIME NOR THE FIRST COUPLE TIMES AFTER YOUR FIRST TIME!! So anyway, Jack slides all he way in to home with no stopping and Keri Ann in her mind thinks for the briefest moment it is painful and then ohmygoditsflippingamazing! Nope, sorry, nope. Not how it goes. I found that annoying but it didn't deter me from the book no take away from I don't think.  I thought Natasha Boyd did a fantastic job bringing her character to live in  a very believable setting, I enjoyed the turtle facts, and I think that other readers would agree with me in saying, OMG there has to be, nay, needs to be a sequel! She did the job well by leaving you wanting more but not leaving you feel lost or like it's missing something. The cliffhanger was amazing, and I greatly anticipate another book...but what would it be called? Is there another book? All in all, this was a really great read and I would recommend this to all my readers! You'll definitely not be disappointed! If I were to rate in stars, I'd give Eversea by Natasha Boyd four awesomeness stars! Enjoy!

I feel like I can’t even come up with the words for how much I liked this book. I don’t even know what to say besides just read it. But since you probably want more I’ll see what I can do. I really liked Kari Ann as a heroine. She’s a virgin and self-conscious, but i get it for her. There were circumstances in her past, girl’s had a lot going on. She may be inexperienced, but I didn’t find Kari Ann to be weak or mousey. I found myself yelling at her a few times through my kindle, but not because of horrible actions or anything. She just cannot keep a secret to save her life. It was more of a yelling like you do at your tv when the heroine goes down to the basement in a horror movie. Kari Ann was an awesome heroine. She’s in love, but she never goes crazy. She’s able to appear cool and unaffected in front of Jack, but her inner dialog was hilarious. She might have been swooning over him, but damn if she was going to let him know that. I loved it. Jack quote the Princess Bride. That says it all right? I wasn’t sure if I would love Jack in the beginning or not and really I don’t even know why I loved him so much, except that I do. Jack is just so sweet and swoony. He does some stupid things and I wanted to be mad at him about them, but most of them were made before he met Kari Ann. I could even sympathize with him for the dumb things he does after meeting her, he was in a difficult position and did what he thought needed to be done. This story does have a very ‘real life’ fanfiction feel to it. Once you get into the story it will be pretty easy to figure out which real life celebs the story seems to be based on. Was it really based on that situation, I have no idea. I also have no problem if it was. I’ve read some bad fanfiction and I’ve read some great fanfiction, everyone gets their story ideas from somewhere. Plus Eversea was a great story so who cares. I had no idea I would love Eversea as much as I did. It was definitely a great surprise to find myself sucked into the story and the characters the way I was. While reading you just know Jack is going to break our hearts, it’s practically written on the wall, but I just didn’t care. There is a book two, Forever, Jack which is not a retelling but a continuation and completion of the story. Towards the end of the story I started to get nervous because I thought the ending would be brutal with a huge cliffy. Thankfully, the author takes the plot a bit further in the future which helped me sleep peacefully. That’s actually a lie. As soon as I finished Eversea I started book two, there was no sleeping in-between. But those few hours when I had to actually do things, like you know, parent were much calmer for me than they would have been.

MY THOUGHTS About the story.... Keri Ann is 22 years old. She lives in the small South Carolina town Butler Cove Island. All alone in her big family house, after her brother went off to med school. Their parents died when she was just a teenager and a few years later her grandma passed away too. Now she's all alone, working her ass off at the diner and trying to save the crumbling Butler family mansion. Then Jack rides into town on his motorcycle. But he's kind of undercover. Because he's not just a hot guy - he's THE hottest guy on the planet. Hollywood superstar Jack Eversea. And Keri Ann is the only one who knows he's in town. After he met her in the Diner, he asks her to not let anyone know that he's in town. He's trying to hide away for a while. His girlfriend cheated on him and he just couldn't stand to be in LA any longer. That's how he ends up living in a friends house at the beach. Keri Ann agrees to keep his secret and soon the two of them spend a lot of time together. She buys groceries for him, he helps renovating her house....... Keri Ann was never a typical teenager, she never dated, never went out much with friends. That's why she's not sure what to think about her growing feelings for Jack. Is she falling for the hot superstar, or for the the hero of her favorite book series (Jack plays him in the movie!) or is she getting to know the real Jack? Then there's Jack - could this girl be the first person ever who wants to get to know the real him. Everybody always wants something from him, nobody ever wanted HIM, only whatever it was he could give them. Things between Jack and his 'Ex' Audrey are not exactly as they seem.... it's all very complicated.... Could there be a future for Keri Ann & Jack? Will they get their HEA? Or will everybody die at the end? ¿¿¿ Will there be a Cliffhanger? ¿¿¿ I'm not telling you of course ¿¿¿ Ok - I might tell you that, since there will be a second book, there will be much more to tell ¿ can't wait to get started with book #2 _______________________________ I REALLY ENJOYED READING THE BOOK!!! I didn't know what to expect at all when I started to read. And that's really the best thing that can happen...you can't be disappointed when you don't have any expectations ¿ But I wasn's disappointed at all!!! I loved it. I was right there in Butler Cove with Keri Ann from the very first moment. I could picture it all in my mind. The heat, the mosquitoes, the reeaaaalllly hot Hollywood Superstar ¿ And the story? It was the perfect New Adult Cinderella Romance ¿ Poor small-town girl - who doesn't know how beautiful she really is - meets this gorgeous Hollywood Superstar. This book couldn't have done anything wrong for me after I knew what it was about. I just love those kind of stories. Give me a Rockstar - Hollywoodstar - Navy SEAL ¿ and I'm happy. And I was really happy with this book!!! Keri Ann is such a wonderul girl. Staying in this little town to work, so that she can slowly repair the family home and that her brother can go off to become a doctor. She's working so hard to please everyone - her brother - the town - that she forgets about herself. She wanted to go to art school and create beautiful things. But she's stuck in this unexciting life until Jack comes riding into town. He changes everything for her. And she does the same to him. He didn't have a very nice childhood, but he never really talked to anybody about all that. Keri Ann is the first person who really wants to listen to him. She wants to get to know the real him. Those two are sooo adorably cute. It's really funny and sexy and sweet how they are together! Not everything is all hearts and flowers of course ¿ Jack's Ex might show up and cause trouble. Maybe it was just too good to be true for both Jack & Keri Ann. But - we'll find out all about how their story will end in book #2 FOREVER, JACK I really loved EVERSEA!!! It was perfect from the first to the last line ¿ Oh - and btw - the last lines / pages are from Jack's POV - so we get to know him a little better! I really loved that! The tiny little thing that bothered me about the book - and it's only this one little thing - there wasn't enough sexiness in it for me. Yes, I know - it's called A LOVE STORY - not an erotic Romance - but still - I wished Natasha wouldn't have been that shy with the sexy scenes. There isn't anything sexy until the middle of the book and then it's not all that much. I like a bit more SEX in my books - BUT for most readers it will be just perfect!!! Please go and buy the book - you won't regret it - you will fall in love with Keri Ann, Jack & all the others (Jazz, Joey etc.) just like I did! I'm really excited to read what will happen next!
