This 64-page, full-color parody of the super-caffeinated media phenomenon Rachael Ray doesn't merely mimic the tone of the megastar's monthly magazine, daily talk show, multiple Food Network shows and countless ad campaigns, it nails it!

Bestselling author Elizabeth Hilts captures Rachael's perky exuberance, her "casual" approach to cooking and her irrepressible and wholly unique Rayisms.

Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble
Cookbook buyers and TV viewers can't get enough of Rachael Ray, but all her bestselling books and Daytime Emmy nominations (and 2008 victory) can't protect her from the type of celebrity backlash experienced by Martha Stewart and other domestic goddesses. This 64-page, full-color parody features trademark "30-Second Meals" and "Oh My Buns! Burgers of the Month." Fun eats.

Every Freaking Day with Rachell Ray: An Unauthorized Parody

I have a love-hate relationship with Rachel Ray. I really admire her work ethic, but she gets on my nerves. I am strangely fascinated with her. I find myself wondering if she is really like her television persona. Imagine my confliction when my husband said that I remind him of Rachel Ray. I had to do some soul searching after that comment. With that said, the cover looks just like Rachel Ray. Hilts has her smile and mannerisms perfected. From the everything-in-the-pantry carry to the hand gestures, Hilts looks just like her. She especially looks like her in the parody of ¿40 dollars a day¿. Ray¿s fascination with EVOO, the garbage bowl, and her personalized language are part of this parody. Off-the-wall comments are part of this cookbook, such as ¿I keep my grillin¿ machine right near the bed for those sudden cravings for a nice Italian sausich.¿ An explanation of Rachel Ray¿s hand gestures and sayings are included. When you see them all together, her quirkiness cannot be denied. Perhaps the funniest aspect of this book is the parody of her food. Let¿s face it her food does not even look appetizing. The few people I know who have tried to duplicate her recipes tell me that it does not even taste good. Who should get this book? Any woman who likes or dislikes or does not understand Rachel Ray. Do you know a frazzled woman who wants badly to have a well-ran household? Get her this book. She will feel much better.

Every Freaking Day with Rachell Ray: An Unauthorized Parody

When my copy of Every Freaking Day with Rachell Ray came in, I had to stop everything and look at it. Then I called my daughter/best friend who also had just received her copy, and we began to discuss several pages. She would call out a page number, and I would quickly turn to it. Then something would catch my eye, and I would suggest a page. We laughed and giggled for almost an hour. I actually thought I was looking at Rachel Ray when I first opened the book. The woman in the photos really does look like her. Now for the review¿. Every Freaking Day with Rachell Ray is a delightful parody. Watch for the page with the hand gestures it is so Rachelish! I have a love hate relationship with Rachel Ray. I love her most of the time however, sometimes she just plain gets on my nerves. One page is filled with how Rachel measures, how she preps, and how she talks. My favorite Rachel Ray show is $40.00 a Day. There is even a page in Every Freaking Day with Rachell Ray dedicated to that show. Ladies this is not a cookbook. This is not meant to be a serious book. Be prepared to laugh until you cry. This book is not for you if you cannot handle parody.

    Hill-Larry-Us!

What a great parody! It is so funny and witty. It is very well written. I, too, have a love/hate relationship with RR. The author hit the nail right on the head.
