    Great read

The most engaging poker book I've read by far. Great insight into the game as its played at the highest levels. This book is not for beginners. You need to have your game worked up to a solid level in order to really absorb the stuff Gus is doing here. But when you do, you'll find that adopting elements of his game can really launch you in an upward direction.

    Gus Wins

I thought I was getting a book about how Gus won the Aussie Millions instead I got an informative lesson on poker strategy. Not only is it instructional in a very easy to understand format, it's also easy to read and fun. Gus pokes fun at himself, often wonders why he made the play he did, and then fixes the leak. I've learned so much about aggression that it immediately started helping me on $5 sit-n-go's online and paid for itself in less than a week. AND it made me appreciate Gus Hansen all the more....he takes his chances but with the math behind him. His math gets a little complicated for me so I will reread this book to get a better understanding of it and how to use it.

    Poker Bible

If you ever play in a high blind and ante structure, this book is an absolute must have. I don't give too much credit to poker books, but this is amongst the most useful ever written. The Bible for high ante play...

This Book is an asset to anyone's game.

I've gone from watching my chip stack slowly dwindling down while waiting for a hand to come (Gus's description of "the Rock") to becoming a presence at whatever table I sit in a tournament.

    A masterpiece.

A genuine examination of the thought process of tournament hold'em. A witty, humorous, and absorbing look into the mind of a game theory and poker savant. A must read for anyone earnestly studying the game of hold'em.
