I actually bought this because the other reviewer talked about a diagram for swaddling, and that's what I wanted. So for $2 I figure that's like one good night of sleep if it worked... so, right on. But I disagree with the other reviewer in that I'm pretty sure its obvious by reading that this book was written by men and I didnt get anything from it that would make anyone feel nervous or like a bad person for getting a loved one pregnant. I liked it, took lots more than the swaddling from it, and am pretty glad I got it

I've gotten half-way through the book and I like the way it's written. My husband is not really into sitting down and reading a book, so the fact that it has a lot of great info packed into as few pages as possible is great! I love the manly man tone of the book, because thats what my husband is, a definite manly man. Fluff would turn him off completely, so this book fits the bill.

I bought this for my husband to read as we prepare to start a family. I'm glad I read it before giving it to him. The man hating tone of this book would not give reassurance to a nervous new father. It is poorly written and the author speaks to the audience like he is the worst person for getting their loved one pregnant. Briefly they touch on circumcision. At first the author claims they will not say what decision you should make but then immediately attacks the views of the people opposed to it. I do not understand the aggression of the author. The only thing I found useful was a diagram at the end of how to swaddle the baby. I'm glad I only paid $2 for this book. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
