An assured re-working of '60s pop and rock influences, Every Other Day at a Time bursts to life with bright guitar hooks, rousing melodies, and exuberant Beach Boys-style harmonies. The band adds enough '90s guitar noise and a healthy sense of irony to the proceedings, making their songs more than simple exercises in nostalgia.
