We started eating paleo about a year ago, and Sarah’s first book – Everyday Paleo – was the first book that I bought. It has all of the information necessary to get started right away and tons of excellent recipes. Every time I try a new recipe of Sarah’s we are always shocked at how good it tastes. This is probably partly due to the fact that I had been trying to cook and eat low-fat for so much of my life. Eating paleo has been a revelation. Everything tastes so much better! Sarah is incredibly talented and inventive with her cooking, and I was so excited to try out her new recipes in Everyday Paleo Family Cookbook. I have tried a few so far and they are all excellent. One of the best things about Sarah’s recipes is that they are simple but delicious – usually not too many ingredients and easy to follow directions. This is the only kind of cooking that I can do with two little kids. Also, this new book is so much more than just a cookbook. It is packed with information and guidelines to help you bring your children on board too. We are still working on transitioning our 3- and 5-year-olds to eating full-time paleo too, and Sarah’s tips have been tremendously helpful. If you are considering trying to go paleo, you must have Sarah’s books. I am an evolutionary biologist, so I am completely on board with the whole adaptation argument for eating paleo. But, even if the science doesn’t convince you, you will be a believer if you just try eating this way for a month. I felt like a different person almost immediately. I used to nearly pass out if I didn’t eat every 2-3 hours, and I had a persistent sweet tooth. I feel so much more in control of eating now, I never go hungry, and I definitely see major physical differences as well. I am always trying to convert friends and family to paleo eating, and the Everyday Paleo books are the first things that I recommend to get started.

This was easy to follow. I have cooked many of the recipies and my family can't believe this way of cooking tastes so good.( And I have a skeptical preteen and a teen) I love having pictures of the meals to interest you to try it. I also love how many of the recipies can help you prpare for other meals. The recommendations for side dishes and putting in the page numbers makes it a nobrainer for a busy mom. Looking forward to trying more!

I have only been paleo for 1 month and do not have kids or a partner, but I've found this book to be really useful (even if I've only had it 3 days). There are great suggestions for preparing ahead of time for a week of amazing meals -- and of course the mayo recipe is great!

This was the first Paleo cookbook my husband and I used. Not long after we bought her first book, Everyday Paleo. Over the past couple of months we have primarily used these books to create all our weekday meals. Her recipes are are easy and delicious! Sarah also very smartly organizes her books. Can't wait to buy her newest book...Paleo Italian!
