Eric Starr is an accomplished recording artist, music journalist, and writer. A three-time recipient of the prestigious Meet the Composer Grant, he has played sold-out shows at Lincoln Center. Starr is the author of The Everything Drums Book and The Everything Rock and Blues Piano Book. He lives in New York, NY.

Nelson Starr toured as bassist for 10,000 Maniacs and the spin-off group John and Mary. His original music appeared prominently on the television show Party of Five, and he has written scores for television and movies. He lives in Buffalo, NY.
