    I Also Recommend:

Robert Brockway Is On Fire. Someone Should Really Do Something About That. In The Meantime, Let's Read His Book.

I've been reading and laughing along with Robert Brockway's columns and feature articles on cracked.com for awhile. When I heard he'd written a book I downloaded the sucker to my Nook as soon as it was available. The formatting for this eBook was done very well; the picture content was easy to read and, even though it's not required to understand the jokes, it's great to have them accessible, since you're paying for it and all.

Everything is Going to Kill Everybody is a damn funny read, in spite of its deadly serious subject matter. Keep in mind it's not a work of fiction. The world-ending events Brockway details really did almost happen, but the way he spins the stories leaves you wanting humanity to come up with a few more near-apocalypses, just to give him material for a sequel.

    Not worth the effort

I have a really tough time walking away from a book once I start. But after slogging through over 1/3 of this one, I quit. Certainly the author has the right to express himself in any way he sees fit. Mr. Brockway has used the coarsest of language and the most vulgar of anecdotes to try to spice up the humor adorning his subject matter. I think the basic information in this book is interesting, but I suspect I can acquire it relatively easily in other places. So, just as an author can exercise his freedom of expression, I can exercise my freedom to choose...

    And I have.

    Excellent Read

I enjoy Robert Brockway's column on Cracked, and heard about his book there. When I had a lull between school books I picked it up and found it very hard to put down. I absolutely loved it. Excellent work, Mr. Brockway.

The title is more eye-catching than the contents.

I read this book during the course of reading other far more interesting books. It is an easy book to put down and pick up as it is broken into 20 fairly short chapters. It is almost bathroom reading material but the chapters might be a bit too long for that purpose. The humor in this book is forced and strained and the most interesting stories happen to be the first few if only to get you to read deeper into the book. I don't walk away from reading many books but I contemplated quitting this book once I was midway through it. It was a chore to cross the finish line.

Recommended as long as you don't take it seriously.

Pretty funny read. If you are a pessimist or depressed...DO NOT read.
