This book is a quick read. It covers wide range of panini-related topics. While it has lot's of recipes, I only used one recipe so far, the pesto recipe. The book gave me lot's of ideas for making my own panini with the ingredients I already have in the house. It also gave me a lot of ideas for doing some prep work ahead of time so I can assemble a panini very quickly. After using the ideas in this book, the panini I create tastes much better than anything I've had a restaurant or sandwich shop. I should point out though, that I bake my own bread. As the book points out, the fresher your ingredients, the better the panini. The book also includes desert panini recipes, which I haven't tried yet, but they look really good.
