This is by far the best book on the subject that there is. Since I retired, I have been doing NRA training in the Sarasota area, primarily among other snowbirds, and primarily Basic Pistol, First Steps, and Personal Protection (inside the home). While the NRA keeps promising to have the 'Personal Protection outside of the Home' course available shortly, they have been making that same promise for at least a year now, with no sign of the course. One of the ongoing irritations that I had in doing the Personal Protection course is the necessity of having a lawyer friend come in to do the legal side of it. While this book is Minnesota-law-specific, the same principles apply everywhere, and it is a good, solid, commonsense approach to both the legalities and practicalities of handgun carry anywhere. My only complaint is that it *is* Minnesota-specific, and I would very much like to see a nationwide version, and hope Mr. Rosenberg will oblige.
