About the Author

Dr. Dennis J. Woods has studied eschatology for 40 years. His fascination with biblical prophecy began in 1975 while serving in the Navy on board the U.S.S. England, after reading his first Hal Lindsey book. In 1982, after being honorably discharged, he continued his eschatological studies reading great dispensational teachers such as Clearance Larkin's books Dispensational Truth, the Book of Revelation and Daniel.

In 1994, Dr. Woods' first book Unlocking the Door: A Key to Biblical Prophecy was published, giving him national exposure. In 1995, he further sharpened his eschatological skills by taking a Revelation course taught by renowned New Testament theologian Dr. D.A. Carson, at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Wisconsin extension, Elm Brook Church, where Dr. Steward Briscoe, was pastor. In 1997, he also corresponded with Dallas Theological Seminary pillars Dr. John Walvoord (2004) and J. Dwight Pentecost (2014).

Today, Dr. Woods is President and CEO of Life To Legacy, LLC a thriving independent book publisher having published over 40 titles. He is also the pastor of Power of the Holy Ghost Deliverance Ministries, having nursing home and radio outreach ministries in Chicago IL. For their spiritual enrichment he and his wife of 18 years Chantia, attend the Apostolic Church of God, of Chicago Illinois, where Dr. Byron T. Brazier is the pastor. In 2004, Dr. Woods received his Doctorate of Biblical Studies from Midwest Theological Institute of Indiana.
