This book breaks down Excel VBA so that you can understand and program in short order. I was actually online trying to find another copy for work. This book is sacred to me as a reference.

Most tutorial books take too much for granted, saying 'Do this' without explanation of why. This book explains why things are to be done. For the moderately experienced Excel user who wants to get started using VBA, this is the place to begin. It won't cover everything you'll ever need, but will make follow up books more useful.

This book is really good for beginners who want to write code for EXCEL to manipulate data, worksheets, cells, etc. I highly recommend this book!

It is clear and concise and easy to both use and follow. Gave me what I needed to get some quick (and not so simple) macros working. I bought this and a couple of the $40+ texts on VBA for Excel and returned the other two.
