This book should be included with Exchange 2000!

After reading 3 other books on Exchange, this one finally gave me some useful information. Microsoft should include this book with every copy of Exchange! Be warned, this book does not cover basic Exchange information like how to create a mailbox or running setup. Instead, the author makes solid recommendations on designing and managing an Exchange 2000 system. I enjoyed the disaster recovery information and especially the security chapters. And Chapter 4 has useful information with each new page. The only thing I could have hoped for is more information on the Active Directory Connector because I had to do an Exchange 5.5 migration. Other than that, this book has been excellent!

Best Exchange 2000 book on the market

This is the best Exchange 2000 book I have read. It is not for beginners as the writer assumes a certain level of basic Exchange and Active Directory knowledge. However, the book dispenses a lot of practical advice and the writer shares his experiences when installing and supporting the product. This book includes an excellent chapter on how Exchange 2000 depends on Active Directory. There are several chapters that have some excellent information on tweaking Exchange to work best in your own environment. I bought a couple of other Exchange books that were of little or no help when figuring out Exchange 2000. This book does not have a very big chapter on migration, but the rest of the book is excellent!
