Assault Prevention helps individuals, groups, and organizations proactively plan for successful mitigation of unexpected violence and emergencies through assessments, consultation, training & instruction and social media. This includes corporate threat assessment of physical facilities, intellectual property, and key personnel; specialized security and presentation of local, national, and global trend research and analysis. Assault Prevention has provided consultation, instruction and customized training to 100+ Federal, State and Local Criminal Justice Agencies, and 50+ private and non-profit organizations.
Previously he served in a variety of roles within Institutional Corrections, Law Enforcement, Community Corrections and Private Security including Detective, Narcotics & Vice, SWAT, Bomb Squad Member, Arson Investigator, State Emergency Response & Planning Team Member, Instructor, Research Analyst, Fugitive Apprehension and VIP Protection.
He provides certified instruction in Use of Force, Executive Safety, Firearms, Personal Protection, Risk Management, and Threat Assessment & Planning.
His certifications include Senior Control Tactics Instructor, Master Handgun Instructor, Lethal Force Training Master Instructor, Certified Personal Protection Specialist, NRA Certified Pistol Instructor, MN DNR Certified Firearms Safety Instructor, Risk Assessment & Threat Management and is a Validated Expert in Community Vulnerability Assessments.
