    As an Autocad Teacher

I have purchased many different Autocad books and this one is by far the best book for the new learner. This book has a good explanation of the commands. It has simple tutorials which quicly build the students confidence. This book is also easy for the novice to read and understand without getting overwhelmed. I use this book for 90% of my lessons. Thanks Cheryl-great job. I am so happy I finally found a book I can really use.

Exercise Workbook for Beginning AutoCAD 2000, 2000i and LT

This book really does make AutoCAD easy to learn. I have tried others and I couldn't figure out where to start. With this book, you just start with lesson 1 and work your way through. Concise and to the point. Even included exercises to practice. Great book.
