Work on transitons and characters, a little more depth to the story would improve it, but an easy quick read
Not a bad story on the whole but the writing needed some polishing, and some serious proofreading. A lot of women look "spent" and older than their years. The "spent blonde" a "spent brunette" Everywhere "smells stale" "Smears by" is a term I really liked the first time I read it, but after several repetitions, it really wasn't as impressive a descriptive as it was the first time. "Something tells me ..." Four times in two pages Why is it so confusing to comprehend the difference between tales and tails, between role and roll, between brass tacks and brass tax?
A rather bad attempt at Noir Fiction. The author can't decide whether to use American or British termanology. Could not finish.
