Meet the Author

William Harms is associate news director at the University of Chicago and has been in charge of media relations for the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools for more than twenty-five years.  He has served as the editor of two Laboratory Schools publications, Lab Notes and Lab Directions. A former reporter for the Chicago Tribune, he holds a BA from Coe College and an MSJ from Northwestern University.
