Another in a series of Great Books!
Like the others in the Witness series, this book demands your undivided attention from start to finish. Ms.Forster puts you inside of the minds of her characters leaving the reader to endure the same emotions. Set your summer reading schedule now and read the whole series and be ready when the next in line comes out. "6 out of 5 STARS"

I loved this book. Expertly created, Expertly staged, Expertly written---Ms. Forster has done it again only this time her focus characters are challenged beyond their limits. When it comes to a good Thriller, most would agree that pace is a crucial element for the reader and that is where this author excels. You can actually smell the fear coming out of this book and when you think it is all said and done, you are wrong. If you check her website (and please do!), you will find a sweet, kind and gifted woman so I have no idea how in the world someone like that comes up with all these creepy yet wonderful stories! I loved this book and highly recommend it to you and your fellow readers.

I am a huge fan of Rebecca Forster - especially the witness series. If you enjoy legal / mystery thrillers you should give these a try.

Expert Witness, #4, is just as fast paced, and exciting from page 1 to the very end as the previous 3, leaving you wanting more. Rebecca Forster really knows how to bring her characters to life, she makes you want to meet them!

I loved this book! The relationship that developed between Asher and Hannah is so real and raw. I have always been a big fan of Hannah, she is a character that as mother I have always wanted to hug and save. In this book Hannah really shines in her own way. She is a tough kid who has seen and been through more than anyone should ever be and yet she is a softy under all those many layers. This was my favorite book of the Witness series by Rebecca Forester. It stands alone but the reader would enjoy this book much more after reading the others one first. The character development book to book is awesome. I can't wait for another book in this series.

I've read the other three in this series and recommend you start with the first one, Hostile Witness, and read them all. The complex relationship between the characters is what sets these books apart from a lot of other books in the genre. Rebecca Forster keeps the story moving while at the same time giving her characters a surprising amount of depth. Highly recommended.

Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.Fans of Rebecca Forster¿s Witness books are sure to be thrilled with this latest addition to the series. Defense Attorney, Josie Bates, has gone missing and Archer, her private investigator boyfriend, is frantically searching for her. While tracking down suspects from some of her past cases, he struggles with how to help Hannah, Josie¿s teenage ward. Just like the other books in this series, character development is masterfully accomplished, with Archer and Hannah as prime examples. Building on the uneasy tension between them about how they both fit into Josie¿s life, they are now uncomfortably linked by her absence. Intertwined with this fast-paced abduction storyline are these emotionally believable characters trying to carve out space for themselves and each other. I also liked the way the secondary characters come to life with as much drama and purpose as the primary characters. Readers new to the series should start with Hostile Witness and read the entire set.

I have become a fan of the witness series. Could anyone tell me if there is a reason why the book is listed twice and one says legal thriller in parenthesis?
