Bongo Goes to School
This is a funny and playful story about a boy named Luke who takes his dog Bongo to school. Bongo is just a dog that wants to go to school and learn, but dogs are not allowed at school – everyone knows that. It turns out that Bongo is actually quite a talented pooch. He can walk on two legs, and he can even talk! Clearly, this is no ordinary dog.
The school is shocked to meet such a dog. Will Luke’s teacher let Bongo sit in class and learn like the rest of the students? Is Bongo smart enough for school?
The Spirit of the Oak Tree
Emilie is 9 years old, but she feels like she is ready to be a grown up. She doesn’t care to play the silly little games of children. Instead, she likes to play with her dolls and pretend like she is an adult.
One day, her father takes her to the park. As she arrives, she sees children dancing under a great big oak tree. Strangely, she doesn’t hear any music, so she goes to see what they are doing. She meets a mysterious girl with blond hair, dusty cheeks, and bright yellow eyes.
At some point, Emilie says to the girl “I want to hear the music”.
“It’s easy. Just take my hands and dance,” says the mysterious girl.
Will Emilie be able to hear the music? Who is the mysterious girl by the tree?
The Squirrel with the Most Nuts in the World
In this story, squirrels Marvin and Scotty have been friends for a long time. One day, Marvin has trouble finding any nuts, and he realizes that Scotty has collected all the nuts in the area for himself. No matter how much Marvin asks to have a nut for himself and his family, Scotty won’t help. It turns out that Scotty wants to be the squirrel with the most nuts in the world.

One day Scotty is in terrible trouble, and the only way he could ever get out of it is from the help of someone else. The problem is since Scotty only cares about himself, there aren’t a lot of people left that care about Scotty anymore. It is all up to Marvin – will he help out his old friend when he needs it the most? Will Scotty ever change his ways?

Meet the Author

I believe we can all accomplish what we aim for if we persist in the face of obstacles. Even if your goals seem out of reach for now, they are not. There is always a path to your goals, even if at first glance it seems riddled with thorns.Something we can all relate to is the need to overcome obstacles. This is what my stories are about.I write so children and adults can understand the stories. Adults often forget what they are truly capable of. I hope my stories motivate you to have the courage to pursue your vision, even when the odds are stacked against you. Most of all, it is important that we encourage the children to dream big.
