Meet the Author

Rebecca Gallagher is currently an adjunct instructor at Touro College in New York City and a freelance web designer. As former Chair of Digital Media communications at Katharine Gibbs School, she was an integral part of curriculum development for the design department and taught classes on the principles and theories of motion graphics and typography. Ms. Gallagher has also worked in the graphic design and web design divisions of such world-renowned companies as TV Guide Online and Associated Press. She received her M.F.A. in Fine Art Photography from the State University of New York at New Paltz.

Andrea Moore Paldy, former Chair of the Digital Filmmaking and Multimedia program at the Katharine Gibbs School, continues to teach classes in screenwriting, directing and career development at Gibbs. She received a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in French and English history and literature from Harvard University and a Master of Fine Arts in Film from Columbia University. She was director of development for Magic Hour Productions, headed by writer/director Eleanor Bergstein (Dirty Dancing), where she developed projects for theater, film and television, including the stage version of Dirty Dancing. At present, she is developing her own projects, including a romantic comedy and an animated feature.
