Overview

Faith, though it is as small as a mustard seed, is all that is needed to move mountains.

Faith, though it is confronted with doubts, rebounds stronger than ever because of them.

Faith, though tested by the fieriest of trials, comes through shining like pure gold.

To put it simply, faith is extraordinary!

The faith of a believer is much more than wishful thinking. Faith is a certainty. Faith is believing that no matter how things appear on the surface, God is in control. Faith is a constant assurance based on God's track record in our lives and in the lives of the faithful throughout generations past. Our world, the church, and our own lives are filled with the overwhelming evidence of the faithfulness of God.

Extraordinary Faith unfolds a fresh understanding of what faith is and what it is not. Join Sheila Walsh as she leads you through the lessons faith teaches.

  • God spared nothing to show us He is faithful
  • Through faith, the impossible becomes possible
  • Faith isn't about us, it's about who God is
  • All we need is faith for the next step
  • Wrestling with doubts strengthens our faith
  • Faith means trusting God even when nothing makes sense

You will see God and not just Shiela in this book

I picked up this book because I am going to the Woman of Faith confrence this month and Shiela is one of the speakers! I read the book in just 4 days because I could not put it down. I was so used to reading books by authors and preachers who just focus on their life story. Shiela's book was different because she would mention a short paragraph about her life story and say 'and at that time I felt just like Issac in the Bible. Then she would have several pages about a Bible story with insights I had never heard before. She is such a great Bible teacher and you can see her theology training in her writing. I learned more about the Bible from her book than any other book I had every read. She helped me get out of the prosperity rut and 'The Secret' rut I was in. My sisters had told me to stop believing that you can make things happen yourself like the prosperity and 'The Secret' books talk about and realize that your prosperity will occur only when you align your will with God. I have never thanked God before for freedom but after reading this book and 'A Woman after God's Own Heart' I started having 20 minute morning devotions everyday and have thanked God for freedom from the old way of thinking I had. I now ask God what His will for me is today. Shiela doesn't sugar coat a walk with God. She tells you about the good and hard times and how God will be there through it all. I thank God for this book.
