I picked up this book the other day, because it looked very interesting. I have a knitting, needlepoint and quilting background, which means for me that I have read many step by step instructions. Starting in this book from the chapter "Tools and Techniques" to the very last chapter, the clarity of instructions and photos made every thing very clear. I really loved the tips in the Tools & Techniques chapter and the variety of different cake styles offered in the book too fit any occasion. It will be another great book in my cooking and baking
    in my book collection.

Highly recommended, and lots of fun!

This is a beautifully designed and conceived book. Easy to follow instructions make it perfect for a do-it-yourself cake maker, parents with children who want a special cake, or anyone who wants to try a fun project. Very accessible. And it makes a great gift. I'm planning to give a few at Christmas!
