    Well...

It's a pretty good title for the devout christian, I'll say that. Not a good title for the agnostic trying to find himself and his religion. The book summaries kinda left something to be desired. The overall messages were explained, but some of the more obscure scriptures (Genesis 4:23, 9:24; to name a few) were left out. The teen looking for a study bible could do worse, certainly, but the teen looking for God could certainly do better also. However, the New King James version is certainly easier to read than the old english.

    Haven't read this but...

But I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. =) I am but dust and breath. "If you are wise, you are wise for yourself, and if you scoff, you will bear it alone" - Proverbs 9:12 nkjv. If you seek truth you will find it.

Move over Spidey: Jebus is my HERO!

Finally TEENS RULE when it comes to the RELIGION! I used to think Religion talked down to me, always telling what to do, what to think, what to believe... But now I don't have to think for myself, because The Extreme Teen Bible panders to my EXTREME teenage vocabulary and indoctrinates me into puritanical dogma based on archaic tribal fairy tales in language that's totally RAD! I didn't know Jebus was this COOL... I don't even want to sin anymore.

    Narly? Maybe. Tubular? Most definately!

When Jesus was smoking some doobies with the apostles and laying some rad moves on the ramp with his holy skateboard, I knew all dudes from East Coast from the West Coast would be itchin' to read the book that makes you want to say 'Cowabunga Peter, Paul, and Mary (no, not the singers, hee hee)! Though Satan has some mad skillz, we know that Jesus and his buds know how to pop a wheely on the forces of evil. Jesus = Rad to the Max, Dude. Amen.

    what?

I think that trying to make the Bible cooll is rather silly. It is a doctrinal text, beyond human comprehension. Truth is truth and it is hardly cool. With that said, I find it rather annoying that people post such idiotic responses to the Bible. It isn't funny and you should be considering your actions.

    Jesus Christ!

Hey! Up until just an hour ago, I swore up and down that I was Pagan but now I've seen the light with this far out new version of the Bible! Now I don't swear at all but when I say Jesus Christ, I say it in confidence! I was a lost fool before but now I've seen the light! Thanks Jesus! I'll run right out and get my Buddy Christ for my dashboard.

    Religion is finally cool

Before this extremely cool bible, I thought Christianity was just a made up concept to provide easy answeres for uneductated fools. But now that I know that Moses and Jesus bunjee jumped, skyboarded, and street luged, I'm throwing modern science out the window! See you in church everyone!
